The Denver Executive MBA class of 2010 completed their international study tour to Peru last week. The international study tour seeks to enrich the classroom experience through study projects, corporate visits, and cultural immersion.

The focus of the 2009 tour included sustainability, international trade, supply chain, and regulatory practices and included the cities of Lima and Cusco.

The group received a special orientation to the work being performed in extralegal property reform by the Institute for Liberty and Democracy in Lima, headed by Hernando de Soto.

The Lima portion of the trip also included business visits to Kola Real, MWH, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Prisma, Kuehn&Nagel, and joint lectures at ESAN University, and the American Chamber of Commerce. The group also toured the deep port at Callao.

The students completed the study trip with a cultural tour of Cusco and a visit to Machu Picchu
