The Center offers professional development opportunities for middle management and business professionals. As an enterprise department of the College of Business, the Center provides research, consulting, training, and development services to private and public sector organizations. Formal certificate programs* are designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skillsets in specific areas of business, while specialty programs and workshops may be requested to tailor to the individual needs of an organization, company, or client.
Faculty, business practitioners, and consultants offer professional expertise to students, business professionals, and clients of the Center through the Professional and Executive Development Programs, the Research and Consulting Services, and the Institute of Transportation Management.
The Center is also home to the premier Beverage Business Institute. The BBI delivers management education and research specific to the beverage industry, including the Certificate in Beverage Business Management, which caters to the business educational needs of employees in areas such as wholesales, operations, and distribution in the three-tier system.
