Research & Publications

An active research program helps us bring our student the best practices in the field of accounting. Our faculty members collaborate with colleagues in higher education, business, and governmental agencies to address the most pressing needs in accounting.

The passage of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act in 2002, following a number of major corporate accounting scandals, presented new challenges to the accounting profession as will the adoption of new international financial reporting standards, now starting to make its way into U.S. multi-national corporations. These new challenges present new research opportunities. Our faculty members bring their research to their teaching for the benefit of our students.
