Entrepreneurship Dinner |
The Center for Entrepreneurship hosted it's Third Annual Entrepreneurship
Rotating Dinner November 8th at the Fort Collins Hilton. Ten local
entrepreneurs and 30 CSU Entrepreneurship Certificate students
attended the networking event. The dinner was hosted by CSU's Entrepreneur in
Residence Mark Hoog. CSU Alumni Bill Beierwaltes ('72 M.S. Business)
of Colorado VNet,
Pruedence Kaley ('72 B.S. Home Economics) of The Group Inc., Mark Schleiger
('86 Management; '04 M.S. Business) of LP Broadband, Inc., and
Mark Swanson ('86 B.S. Agricultural Sciences; '04 M.B.A.) of OptiBrand were among the entrepreneur guests for the
night. For several of the students, the
night gave them the "real life" insight they needed to begin their
entrepreneurial ventures. Business
student Jared Dose credits Mark Hoog
and the other entrepreneurs for inspiring him to return to school for his MBA
after graduation. His father is hoping to start a wood-chopping
business, and with Jared's entrepreneurial knowledge, the two plan to
dive right into an untapped market. The Rotating Dinner is a great
opportunity for entrepreneurship students to network with local
entrepreneurs. For more information, please contact The Center for
Entrepreneurship at (970) 491-6876. |
