Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) is an
annual meeting of the Region 1 representation of the
Association for Information Systems (AIS). AIS is a
growing organization of over 4000 IS/IT academic and

The
cities that have hosted the most recent AMCIS
conferences include Boston (2001), Dallas (2002), Tampa
(2003), New York (2004), Omaha (2005), and Acapulco
(2006). AMCIS 2007 scheduled for August 9-12, 2007 in
Keystone, Colorado and hosted by Colorado State
University will be the 13th Annual AMCIS
conference.

The
annual meeting is the largest gathering of IS/IT
Professors and Ph.D. students in North America. The
conference generally draws over 1000 delegates with more
than 20% of the attendees from the international
community.
