Welcome to the
AMCIS 2007 placement page. AMCIS placement will be
associated with the Association for Information Systems
(AIS) on-line placement and will host on-site placement
activities in Keystone.
AIS Placement
The AIS Placement Services will open May 1, 2007. To
facilitate matching candidates with positions, AIS
placement provides listings of universities seeking
applicants and applicants seeking universities. AIS
placement services serves three types of users:
- Universities seeking to post a standardized
university job listing and to browse all listings.
- Applicants seeking to post their standardized
resumes and to browse all listings.
- Individuals seeking to browse only (i.e., not
wishing to post a job opening or a resume/CV).

AIS Placement Activities
During the AMCIS conference, facilities will be
provided to assist the meetings of applicants and
university representatives. The Placement area will be
located in the Keystone Conference Center. All persons
who are participating (interviewers and interviewees) in
AIS Placement activities onsite at AMCIS 2007 and/or
will use the booths provided must be
registered for both AMCIS 2007 and AIS Placement.
The AIS private and general Placement hours
are :
Thursday, August 9: 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Friday, August 10: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday, August 11: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Sunday, August 12: 7:30 am – 12:00 pm
Private placements booths are
available for purchase. The order form for a private
placement booth is available
here (PDF document). Please complete this
form and fax to the AIS office at +1 (404) 651-4938.
Open complimentary tables are available
onsite for all institutions who have paid and posted a
position on the AIS Placement website as of July 20,
2007 (14 days prior to the conference). These tables are
available on a first-come-first-served basis
in the general Placement area.
