The BDLA mission is to educate students, faculty and
staff about diversity issues in business, while promoting diversity and working to eliminate social injustice.
In business school, you’re most likely to think of diversity when it comes to your investment portfolio. But at the College of Business, we think that even more important than diversity and profits is an understanding of diversity and multiculturalism. When you graduate from the College of Business, no matter where you go, you will most likely be employed or studying with people from around the world with different cultures, belief systems, values and views.
How well you work in culturally diverse environment, and how well you are able to be a team entrepreneur in that environment, will in part shape your future success. The Business Diversity and Leadership Alliance (BDLA) helps you understand issues of diversity by bringing together students, faculty and staff members to understand the values of working together in a global marketplace.
By working together, we can help to eliminate social injustice, create sustainable opportunities in all global communities, and help elevate people in developing economies from poverty to prosperity.
