Education is only a part of your development in the College of Business at Colorado State University. We encourage you to explore internships that will allow you to sample a career before jumping in with both feet. Internships can help you learn about the industry in which you are interested, get real-world experience in a supportive environment, and make connections in the business world. Many of our students get offered full-time positions upon graduation from the companies with which they have completed an internship.

Internships take many forms, including part-time internships conducted during the academic year, full-time summer internships, paid and unpaid internships, and local, national and international internship opportunities. Most students receive a grade and credit for their internship, depending on a variety of factors.

Each department in the College of Business has an internship coordinator who can help you find the best internship for you, as well as provide you with contacts to develop your own internship opportunity. Be sure to contact the internship coordinator in your department for help in finding an internship, completing all related paperwork, learning about internship policies, and obtaining a grade and credit for your internship.
