The Information Science and Technology Center
The Information Science and Technology Center is a University-wide organization for promoting, facilitating, and enhancing Colorado State University’s research, education, and outreach activities pertaining to the design and innovative application of computer, communication, and information systems.
Departments active with ISTeC include Computer Information Systems, Technical Journalism, Computer Sciences and Computer Engineering. The organizations hosts activities on campus including a high school day for students recruitment, research and outreach activities, scholarships, industry outreach and more.

Center for Collaboration and Cognitive Research
The Center for Collaboration and Cognitive Research, located off campus, has had research programs with the United States Navy, and with IBM. The IBM study looked at the dynamic behind the lower number of women entering scientific fields of study.
The Center is directed by Dr. Stephen Hayne, a Professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems.
