The MSBA-CIS program was created to provide a challenging and rewarding education for people with an undergraduate degree in a computer related field as well as those who are interested in entering this exciting field. With a foundation of broad business knowledge, intensive courses are designed to develop relevant problem-area knowledge, and both technical and problem solving skills to those new to the field as well as students with an IT background.

Current and Relevant Curriculum
The active involvement of the program’s industry-based Advisory Council ensures that our curriculum accommodates today’s cutting-edge technologies and remains flexible to the market’s ever evolving skill set demands. The MSBA-CIS program’s 30-credit hours can be completed in as little as one calendar year and is open to part-time studies. Students have the choice to follow one of two paths to meet their graduation requirements. The thesis (Plan A) option is ideal for students with a passion for research who may be interested in pursuing a doctoral degree following graduation. The project-based Plan B option gives participants invaluable hands-on experience with outside clients.

The MSBA-CIS program is available to students on campus and around the globe. Distance students take advantage of the convenience of course materials streamed over the internet. Being at a distance does not mean operating in isolation; our faculty and staff play an active role in student's education, and today's latest communication technology keeps them in touch with their peers. Modeled after the College's Online Professional MBA program, the MSBA-CIS taps into the knowledge gained by over 40 years of distance delivery experience.
