Steeped in tradition, but always on the cutting edge, the Master of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Computer Information Systems (MSBA-CIS) is designed to provide professional development for students interested in a career in information technology.

Designed for both IT and non-IT Professionals
The MSBA-CIS program was created to provide a challenging and rewarding education for people with an undergraduate degree in a computer related field as well as those who are interested in entering this exciting field. With a foundation of broad business knowledge, intensive courses are designed to develop relevant problem-area knowledge, and both technical and problem solving skills to those new to the field as well as students with an IT background.

Current and Relevant Curriculum
The active involvement of the program’s industry-based Advisory Council ensures that our curriculum accommodates today’s cutting-edge technologies and remains flexible to the market’s ever evolving skill set demands. The MSBA-CIS program’s 30-credit hours can be completed in as little as one calendar year and is open to part-time studies. Students have the choice to follow one of two paths to meet their graduation requirements. The thesis (Plan A) option is ideal for students with a passion for research who may be interested in pursuing a doctoral degree following graduation. The project-based Plan B option gives participants invaluable hands-on experience with outside clients.
