Course Sequence 

The following is the suggested course sequence that students should follow to graduate in one year. This will entail 40-50 hours of work per week outside of class, on average.  This degree can also be completed part time in 2-10 years.  All courses are 3 credits unless otherwise noted.

CIS 600 Information Technology and Project Management (3 credits) can be taken either Fall semester or in the summer

CIS 605 Business Visual Application Development (3 credits)
CIS 606 Application Software Infrastructure (3 credits)
CIS 610 Software Development Methodology (3 credits)
 
Spring Semester
CIS 611 Object-Oriented Systems (3 credits)
CIS 620 IT Communications Infrastructure (3 credits)
CIS 655 Business Database Systems (3 credits)
CIS 665 E-Business Applications Technologies (3 credits)
 
Summer

CIS 695/696 Information Systems/Technology Project and Project Presentation (Plan B)
Application of concepts, techniques, and tools used in analysis, design, and implementation of computer-based information systems in applied setting.
