Marketing Faculty Host Policy Conference and Research Workshop

2010 Marketing and Public Policy Conference

CSU Marketing Professors Ken Manning and Kathleen Kelly are hosting the 2010 Marketing & Public Policy Conference (MPPC), which will be held in Denver on May 20-22, 2010. While providing a venue for research related to all areas of marketing and public policy, the 2010 MPPC will highlight sustainability issues. The conference provides an opportunity for researchers and policy makers to present and discuss ideas and research findings. Topic areas include:   

  • Sustainable development 
  • Environmental regulation 
  • Marketing to vulnerable populations
  • Public health
  • Social marketing
  • Consumer information provision
  • Product safety 
  • Consumer economics and financial issues 
  • Privacy issues 
  • Business ethics and corporate social responsibility 
  • Competition and antitrust issues 
  • Deceptive and covert marketing

2010 Marketing and Public Policy Research Workshop

The research workshop will be held immediately prior to the conference on the CSU campus.  This four day workshop is designed for Ph.D. students and faculty who have an interest in developing a research stream, or are currently conducting research, in the public policy domain.
