We believe business has the power to solve the most complex human challenges.

At Colorado State University’s College of Business, we know business with a conscience changes the world for good every day. We instill this message in our students, who become graduates, who become employees and leaders who use what they’ve learned here to make a difference.

World-Class Business School

Financial Times Best Business School

The idea that business can transform lives has guided the College since it was founded in 1966. Since then, we’ve continually challenged ourselves to find new and innovative ways to offer students the best possible business education. Never content to settle for the status quo, our faculty and staff put their research insights and professional skills to use in creating opportunities for experiential learning inside and outside the classroom.

This is evident in our frequent recognition. In 2024, the Financial Times selected CSU's College of Business as a winner of the “Best Business School” award for responsible business education. We are proud to be among the five business schools worldwide honored through a rigorous process evaluating responsible business management through research, curricula, operations, and community engagement.

The College of Business engages and connects with students inside and outside the classroom, from expanding access to education through our Mosaic classroom and developing student leadership skills and networks with extracurriculars to broadening horizons and providing hands-on learning with case studies and study abroad, Together, we build a sense of community, pursue our goals and continue our tradition of excellence.

Using Business for a Better World

We believe that meaningful change starts in our classrooms and spreads to every corner of the globe. Through our mission to transform lives using business education, academic research and community outreach, we can make the world a better place. Promoting quality research, improving access to education and connecting with the larger CSU and Fort Collins communities primes our students to think about the triple bottom line of business – people, planet and profit.

Outstanding Educational Experiences

AACSB Accreditation Logo

At the College of Business, we prioritize the student experience. Our programs are designed to support our students at every step of their academic journey. The high student retention, graduation and job and education placement rates at the College demonstrate that our students are among the most accomplished alumni in Colorado business. Our alumni’s impact is one of the many reasons the College of Business is recognized as an AACSB-accredited institution — an achievement that only about 5 percent of business schools worldwide share.

Our recognition as one of the leading business colleges in the nation and the world is no small thing, and we’re proud of our business school rankings. The quality of our programs is tied to the dedication of our faculty and staff and their passion for their work as well as our students’ and alumni’s engagement in the classroom and the business community.

A Place That Welcomes All

CSU Students in Moby Arena

Business for a better world means providing a place where all are included and treated equitably. We believe that diversity and innovation are tied, and students at the College of Business create and participate in an academic experience that includes a variety of ideas, voices, identities and experiences. Students, faculty and staff are actively working to create a welcoming community that is diverse and inclusive.

Committed to Community

There’s more to our students’ academic experience than just classwork. As they become a part of the Biz Ram community, they connect with our centers and institutions. These groups explore the latest business trends and ideas, provide our faculty with a platform to share their research and help students network with industry leaders.

Clubs and organizations at the College of Business are led by students and shape their personal and professional experiences. Through events, meetings, presentations and competitions, students find new ways to use business to promote social responsibility and create lasting change.

Building Connections

Offering a high-quality education means networking with leaders in the field. The College’s Global Leadership Council features some of the best and brightest leaders in a variety of industries, including food and beverage, communications and electronics. Our partners in the GLC use their talents and experiences to shape new opportunities for students and the College as a whole.

We take an international approach to our partnerships, working with other universities and academic institutions around the world. These connections allow for international collaboration and offer our students a new perspective on how they can practice business.

A fundamental part of preparing our students for their careers is to connect them with the business community around them. Opportunities like the Impact MBA’s summer fellowships, the Consulting Club and the Summit and Venture Funds engage students with real-world business experiences that can shape their future careers.
