BOB TABER

Thomas Taber & Drazen
Bob is a 30-year veteran of national advertising agencies in New York,
San Francisco, Seattle and Denver. Prior to moving to the Rocky
Mountains in 1999, he was Senior Partner, Director of Strategic Planning
at Bozell Worldwide in New York, with responsibility for strategy on
such accounts as Merrill Lynch, The New York Times, Bank of America and
Bell Atlantic Mobile. The strategic work Bob developed for the “Milk
Mustache” campaign played a critical role in reversing a 20-year decline
in milk consumption.
He has also played a major role on such accounts as Pentax, Dunkin’
Donuts, Wells Fargo, Pfizer, Renaissance Hotels and Taco Bell. For
Purina O.N.E., Ray-Ban sunglasses and Telluride ski resort Bob and his
team earned Effie awards for campaign effectiveness.
In Spring 2002 Bob joined three other highly experienced advertising
professionals to form Thomas Taber & Drazen, with clients including
Great-West Healthcare, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Wide Open West cable
television and Internet, ICON Mutual Funds and The Examiner newspapers
in San Francisco, Washington, DC and Baltimore.
As a University of Oregon School of Journalism professor, Bob led
student teams to the national finals of the American Advertising
Federation’s National Student Advertising Competition. He has served on
the national board of the AAF and as its western region chairman. |
