Bob is a 30-year veteran of national advertising agencies in New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Denver. Prior to moving to the Rocky Mountains in 1999, he was Senior Partner, Director of Strategic Planning at Bozell Worldwide in New York, with responsibility for strategy on such accounts as Merrill Lynch, The New York Times, Bank of America and Bell Atlantic Mobile. He has also played a major role on such accounts as Pentax, Dunkin’ Donuts, Wells Fargo, Pfizer, Renaissance Hotels and Taco Bell. For Purina O.N.E., Ray-Ban sunglasses and Telluride ski resort Bob and his team earned Effie awards for campaign effectiveness.

In Spring 2002 Bob joined three other highly experienced advertising professionals to form Thomas Taber & Drazen, with clients including Great-West Healthcare, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Wide Open West cable television and Internet, ICON Mutual Funds and The Examiner newspapers in San Francisco, Washington, DC and Baltimore.

As a University of Oregon School of Journalism professor, Bob led student teams to the national finals of the American Advertising Federation’s National Student Advertising Competition. He has served on the national board of the AAF and as its western region chairman.
