LARRY KENDALL
Chairman of the Board
The Group, Inc.

Larry Kendall holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Kansas State University and has engaged in the real estate business for 30 years. He is Chairman and one of the founding partners of The Group, Inc., a real estate company that is owned equally by its sales associates and staff. The Group has 200 sales associates in six offices in the Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and Windsor areas.

In 2001 The Group, Inc., was involved in the sale of $1.3 billion of real estate and was named by Realtor Magazine as the most productive real estate company in the United States in terms of sales per associate.

Mr. Kendall’s community activities and awards include:

  • Past President of the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce

  • Past Realtor of the Year by the Fort Collins Board of Realtors

  • Business Person of the Year by Business World Magazine

  • Entrepreneur of the Year by Fort Collins, Inc.

  • Past President of the Fort Collins Area United Way

  • President-elect of the Colorado State University Development Council

  • Director of FirstBank Holding Company

  • “Collins Award” recipient for his service to the Fort Collins community.

Mr. Kendall is married and has two children. His wife, Pat, is a Professor of Nutrition at Colorado State University. In 2001 Mr. Kendall and Pat received the MS Hope Award for their service to Fort Collins and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
