Michael R. Webb is Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of The Knowledge Webb, Inc. - the world's premier intellectual
capital applications company recognized as one of the top 25 fastest
growing companies in Colorado, with clients including 3M, AT&T,
BMW-America, Sumitomo Corporation, R.R. Donnelley, The Boeing Company,
Imation Corp., Qwest, Ryobi, Pac-West Telecomm, Commerce One, Aprimo,
and many others.
Michael combines a strong background in technical manufacturing,
telecommunications, e-business strategy and implementation with
extensive senior leadership experience in the automotive,
telecommunications and Internet applications areas.
Michael is also a partner in Aegis Investment Partners, a Business
Development Company that co-invests with Fortune 1000 companies on their
acquisitions and technology developments.
Prior to founding The Knowledge Webb in 1995, Michael was Vice President
of Operations & Technologies for US West Communications, and helped lead
international business development for the US West Marketing Resources
Group as Vice President of Quality and Processes. He previously worked
for the Toyota Group as a Senior Manager in the North American
manufacturing operations, starting up the new operation and developing
strategic relationships with both key suppliers and customers.
As an Executive Advisor in Seattle, Michael focused on the development
of world-class manufacturing systems for The Boeing Company. He led
senior executive transformation in designing world-class organizational
processes at Boeing, including conducting five Japan study missions for
Boeing's CEO and senior team.
Michael has worked in 14 countries to establish new business ventures
and develop business relationships with strategic partners. He has led
the implementation of large-scale strategic supplier processes in the
manufacturing and telecommunications industries. Michael takes a
holistic approach to any change effort, with emphasis on people, process
and technology.
Michael was the founder and architect of The Brass Ring suite of
knowledge management software. In 1994, this work was a major
breakthrough in the utilization of intellectual capital of an
organization. He has continued to pioneer strategic applications of
intellectual property development to leverage an organization's tacit
assets. |
