Shelly Swanback is an executive partner in
Accenture’s Communications & High Tech practice. Ms. Swanback has
responsibility for Accenture’s work at several local clients as well as
responsibility for new market development in Denver. Additionally Ms.
Swanback is responsible for Accenture’s Denver CHT practice. In this
role, she is responsible for overseeing personnel matters for
approximately 125 people.
Ms. Swanback has spent her 15-year career at Accenture leading and
participating in a wide variety of projects aimed at helping companies
solve complicated information, technology, and management problems. Her
work has included information and technology planning, process
re-engineering, finance transformation, large scale ERP implementation
and outsourcing. Swanback has extensive experience in transforming
finance organizations and planning, designing and managing large-scale
computer system implementations to support business and operational
functions.
Throughout her career, Ms. Swanback has led and actively participated in
the development and management of several client accounts and executive
relationships. Her client experience spans multiple industries,
including communications, media and entertainment and electronics/high
tech. Swanback has worked with leading organizations, including Sprint,
Qwest, Dex Media, and Level 3 Communications.
Ms. Swanback holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Computer
Information Systems from Colorado State University.
She is a Board member of the Women’s Vision Foundation as well as a
member of the Global Leadership Council for the College of Business at
Colorado State University.
Ms. Swanback joined Accenture in 1991 and spent 10 years with the
company before becoming a partner in 2001.
She currently resides in Denver, Colorado with her husband Steve and two
children Andrew and Lauren. Outside spending time with her children, her
interests include hiking, camping, golf and scrapbooking. |
