The College of Business sponsors a number of
honorary and professional student organizations including Beta Alpha Psi
(honorary Accounting fraternity) and the Accounting Club (student
division of the Institute of Management Accountants.)
Beta Alpha Psi sponsors professional and social activities, which
involve both the "Big Four" accounting firms and businesses from the
private sector. Membership in Beta Alpha Psi is considered a mark of
scholastic excellence. Moreover, it provides an excellent opportunity to
associate with members and practicing accountants. Accounting, Finance,
and CIS majors in the top 35% of the College of Business are eligible to
join.
