Eric J. Holsapple, CCIM, has
worked in commercial real estate since 1984, initially
completing project financing for a Colorado based Developer.
In 1986 Holsapple went to work for the Pennant Group of
Australia. He was responsible for U.S. operations and
oversaw the development and investment of institutional
grade real estate throughout the country from a Los Angeles,
CA base and reported to Australia. In 1990 Holsapple started
his own real estate consulting and investment firm based in
New England where he was engaged on a large assignment for
the Pennant Group. In 1993 Holsapple relocated his family
back to Northern Colorado to focus on investments in the
area which allowed him to pursue his Ph.D in Economics and
study trends in international real estate. Since graduation
in 1996, he has been a partner in Loveland Commercial, LLC
and involved in a variety of real estate developments
including affordable housing, mixed use subdivisions, and a
commercial shopping center. Additionally, Holsapple has
lectured in real estate courses for Colorado State
University from 1995-1999, 2000-present and lectured in
macro economics courses at the University of Northern
Colorado from 2000-2001. Current research projects and
published articles include case studies, economic base
analysis, affordable housing, and international real estate.
