
The Office of International Programs at Colorado State University is pleased to announce that Ajay Menon, dean of the College of Business, received its 2009 Distinguished Service Award at the Celebrate Colorado State! awards reception on April 28, 2009.
The award recognizes Colorado State faculty and staff for providing outstanding leadership in the internationalization of CSU as evidenced by continued service, impact across campus, continuity, breadth of experience, and innovation over a significant period of time. Other recipients of the 2009 Distinguished Service Award include Paola Malpezzi Price and Wei Gao.
Jim Cooney, vice provost for international affairs, said that “Ajay Menon embodies the spirit of this award through his personal commitment to expand the College’s global focus, and also by leading the College to establish several innovative international programs, which have garnered national recognition for the College of Business and CSU.”
Educated in India and the United States, Ajay Menon has been on the Marketing Department faculty since 1991. His research interests focus in the areas of customer loyalty, new product management, and strategy implementation.
