The Graduate School commencement will be at 3:00pm on Friday, May16, 2008 in Moby Arena.  Tickets are not necessary for admission to the ceremony

Line-up

• Time: 2:15 p.m.

• Place: Intramural Gym

• Master students and Ph.D. students and their advisers should assemble in the Intramural Gym to receive final instructions for the processional and ceremony.

• March begins promptly at 2:50 p.m.

Regalia

• No advance reservations need be made for student caps and gowns (Distance MBA students pre-order their regalia through the College of Business). Regalia will be available in the Art Lounge, Lory Student Center on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, May 13 - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (special advanced distribution for graduate students)

  • Wednesday, May 14, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

  • Thursday, May 15, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

  • Friday, May 16- at the Intramural Gym only, one hour prior to the ceremony

• Rental costs are cash only - (no refunds):

  • Master cap, gown, tassel, and hood - $35.00

  • Ph.D. cap, gown, tassel, and hood - $35.00

• Contact Unique Recognition at 1-970-663-2668 for the purchase of any item or the complete set.

Regalia Returns

Return of regalia will be immediately after the ceremony to the Intramural Gym. Any late returns should be sent directly to Unique Recognition at 333 East 4th Street, Suite 102, Loveland, CO 80537. You may be charged for late returns.

Name Cards
The name card will be used to announce your name at the ceremony. Name cards will be available in the Graduate School Office, 204 Student Services on:

• Tuesday, May 13 - 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM (students are encouraged to obtain their name cards on this date)

• Wednesday May 14, 7:45 a.m.-4:45 p.m.

• Thursday, May 15, 7:45 a.m.-4:45 p.m.

Parking
Parking is available near Moby Arena at the undesignated sites west of the arena.

Diploma Covers
For those unable to attend the ceremony, diploma covers are available in the Graduate School Office. Diploma covers can be mailed, the postage cost is $3.27 for U. S. mailings. The actual diploma will be mailed to graduates approximately six weeks after commencement.

Graduation Photographs
Graduation Foto, a professional photography service, will be taking photographs at the Graduate School ceremony. Order information will be mailed to graduates within a couple weeks after the ceremony. Graduation Foto can be reached at 1-800-283-1779.

PLEASE NOTE
Graduate students graduating summer 2008 who would like to have their names included in the Spring 2008 Commencement Program will need to apply to graduate by March 21.
