We welcome you to the Master of Accountancy program in the College of Business at Colorado State University. We want to make sure you have the support you need to succeed in achieving your graduate degree and offer numerous services in the College and in the Graduate School to ensure that happens. Whether you are a full-time student in the MAcc program, or pursuing your studies part time, we are here to answer your questions and make sure you have a quality academic experience.
Advising
The Director of Graduate Studies is advisor to all Master of Accountancy students. The adviser approves your program of study and assists in
program planning.
Graduate Student Lab
The Department of Accounting maintains a Graduate Student Lab for use by MAcc students. The lab contains the Department library and computer facilities, and is used for studying, tutoring, and socializing.
Career Services
All placement activities for the College of Business, including jobs and internships, are handled by
Colorado State University Career Services. The College of Business also has a Career Services Liaison to provide assistance to our students (
link). The Director of Graduate Studies and other faculty members provide career counseling and facilitate networking.
Please be aware that job interviews are typically conducted in early September for students graduating that academic year, or if you are seeking internships the following spring or summer. The early interviewing schedule requires that you be well prepared. You must be registered with Career Services and have a resume on file, preferably by the first week of fall semester classes.
