The Center for Entrepreneurship
We develop world-class entrepreneurs who will create the future of business in our new global economy. If you have ever desired to create, build and grow your own business, the Center for Entrepreneurship offers you a home. Based in the Department of Management at the College of Business, the Center focuses on creating learning experiences for entrepreneurship students from across the Colorado State University campus.
The Center for Entrepreneurship sponsors numerous programs and activities to enrich your entrepreneurial experience. We bring in speakers who can relate real-world experience and give you real-world advice on your endeavors. We sponsor workshops to hone your skills, offer networking opportunities, and encourage you to think creatively through competitions that may even result in your own business startup.
Our curriculum allows you to pursue an entrepreneurship certificate and improve your odds of entrepreneurial success.
Some of our activities include:
• Guest speakers from a wide variety of business types and interests
• Hosting Venture Adventure, an annual undergraduate business plan competition with seed funding prizes
• Pairing you up with successful entrepreneur mentors
• Constantly updating and improving our entrepreneurship curriculum
• Linking to the Community through our Entrepreneurial Leadership Council
• Offering a certificate program through the College of Business in entrepreneurship
• Entrepreneur Rotating Dinner bringing a fun group of entrepreneurs to campus to spend an evening with our students
