In the Department of Marketing, students explore marketing’s critical roles in business
and society. While our classes address a variety of specific topics, an overall
emphasis is placed on marketing’s function in developing solutions to the problems
people face in the marketplace.
Graduate Programs
Department of Marketing professors teach a variety of classes within the College’s
Master of Business Administration programs. In particular, our professors teach
required classes titled “Marketing for Sustainable Enterprise,” “Marketing Management,”
Marketing Strategy and Management,” and “Business Decision Making.” Elective courses
taught by marketing faculty include “Professional Selling,” Social Web Marketing,”
and “Services Marketing.”
Undergraduate Programs
Undergraduate students in the College of Business pursue a Bachelor in Business
Administration with the opportunity to concentrate their studies in marketing.
The
marketing concentration, with 21 credits, offers a foundation in marketing research
and analytical thinking related to effectively understanding customers and meeting
their needs. Students develop a practical, managerial orientation that prepares
them for productive careers.
