Jay Stagnone recently took his family on vacation to Hawaii. While he was there, he was finishing his last class, International Business. I asked him how it was to take a class while on vacation. He responded:

"Taking the class did not interfere much with my vacation. I know of no better opportunity than CSUN to get a great graduate education while still enjoying life. I was able to "attend classes" during my occasional downtime while still thoroughly enjoying my Hawaii trip. Where better to read an international finance textbook than sitting on the beach?"

The CSU MBA has done exactly what I’d hoped. It’s given me the tools – and the desire – to think from a business perspective. I’ve been able to apply what I’ve learned on the job, and really feel more valuable to my company. The program has also pushed me to become much more organized, self-motivated, and confident about myself.

The MBA program has been a tremendous learning experience. I am an individual who continually yearns for stimulation, and this program is providing it at a sometimes frenzied pace. I am challenged, yet not overwhelmed.  I am very impressed that the professors I have had thus far, all have “real” world, practical experience in their selected discipline. This allows for a sense of understanding on the professors’ part in reference to relating theory to practice. The professors also design their class projects so that we can examine ourselves, and our career path.

I feel extremely challenged and often overwhelmed but I use what I learn in class DAILY at work. I've never had an educational experience be so beneficial so quickly. It's a pleasure to be a part of this program.

"For anyone considering distance learning, the CSU program is definitely a program to consider. The program’s quality, flexibility and classroom-based format make it a strong competitor."

The program has changed my life. CSU is very demanding, and consequentially days (and nights!) can get to be very long. However, the learning is exhilarating and the friendships you establish with people throughout the country are wonderful. I apply what I learn in my classes every day at the office, and often at home. Although I have two semesters left to complete, I'm already realizing I will miss the program when I am done.

"We felt that the mixture of class videos, live online chats, downloadable library information and easy contact with the professors would provide a positive and interactive environment without having a residency requirement."

"I must say looking back at my CSU MBA experience, I enjoyed meeting people from all facets of life, industries and nationalities, all seeking the same goal as myself. We became friends and comrades."
