  • Increase student’s connection with the campus and college communities

  • Provide academic and career/professional guidance

Mentor team at play

The transition from high school to college is one filled with exciting opportunities, fresh beginnings, and trepidations about a new environment. One of the best ways to adjust to your new academic and social surroundings is to get connected to people who care about you and your success. The COB Mentoring Program exists to do just that—we will pair you with a faculty or staff member or upper class business student to give you a chance to interact with individuals who are knowledgeable about the COB and want you to do your best at Colorado State University.

  • A Reference! Your mentor can help you write your resume, show you around Fort Collins, be an ear to listen, and much, much more!

The Value of a Mentor

Your mentor will support you through the first-year transition process, connect you to your new community, and provide academic, personal and career guidance. This one-to-one relationship has the power to make you feel like a valued part of the COB, CSU and Fort Collins community.

The COB Mentoring Program is committed to seeing that your mentoring relationship is successful. A quality match will be sought for you and your mentor based on your concentration, personal interests, hobbies, and various other factors.
