- She has been an amazing friend and resource for me. She has been there to help, listen, cheer me on, give advice, and share random tidbits she thinks I'll find useful. The one thing that I have learned from her is that she is always there for me and that we'll be friends for years to come.
- Erica has taught me that I need to be able to balance school and getting involved in activities along with having fun. College is a once in a lifetime experience and I can't spend all of my time on school.
- I think that if the mentoring program continues to offer events for my mentor and I to attend, I will just become more and more involved. I love meeting with my mentor and coming to mentoring events.
- I like that there is both a one-on-one aspect with the mentoring pairs and a group setting with the entire program. I also like the events are at varying times so I am more likely to be able to attend more.
- I like the mentoring program because I can recognize faces in my classes and I feel as though I have many resources to go to if I need help. The leadership workshops are also insightful and I enjoy going to them.
- I like the one on one relationship I've been able to build with my mentor. Being a freshman with 20,000 students is a scary thing but being able to get to know an upperclassman who is able to show me how to succeed has made the transition into college much easier.
- I think that the mentoring program is an amazing resource and way to build relationships. I don't know what I would do without my mentor. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and I'm so glad that I chose to apply for the mentoring program. She has given me so much information and moral support over the last semester and I have enjoyed watching her take big steps in her life and cheering her on as she goes through interviews and other experiences. Not only have I learned a lot from being a part of the mentoring program, but I have also gained a lifelong friend. My mentor and I are a great match!
- For me, the mentoring program is wonderful! I love all of the activities that we are able to participate in and wish I had been able to make it to the scavenger hunt. I think that more activities would be great, but I realize that more activities is not always viable for the program as a whole. I know that some other mentees have said it's difficult for them to meet with their mentors which I think is sad. Maybe having more check-ups with the mentors and mentees as well as more suggestions for fun activities would increase participation.
- I think that more events along the lines of what we've been offered so far would be great! I think that we have a good mix of informational and fun activities. The scavenger hunt and game break were wonderful ideas. I also really enjoyed the time management workshop because I learned a lot and was able to organize my life much better with the information as well as the resume building workshop with Melissa.
- I love the mentoring program. It is such a wonderful and rewarding opportunity for everyone that is able to participate in it. I know that the goal is to continue to grow the program in coming years, and I really hope that happens. The mentoring program has been a lot of fun, and offered a lot of comfort for me so far this year, and I hope more students in the future take advantage of the opportunity to participate.

My mentor has been very helpful to me during the fall semester. She has acted as a role model by being extremely active in not only the CSU business program, but also the community. She often tells me about her personal experiences with classes, friends, and community activities and is a great listener.

Sarah has helped me understand the true meaning of college, how to balance and manage my fun and school work, and really help me get into the groove of things in college.

My favorite part of the program was hanging out with my mentor. Maybe I just got lucky, but I was assigned to a great girl who has a bright future ahead of her and she has been a lot of help to me since school started. Erin gives great advice and is very easy to talk to.

I enjoyed talking to Joan about her life and her personal interests. We discovered that we both enjoy bike riding and Mother Nature.

Yes, Mandy did contact me. She sent me a very cute card introducing herself and telling me how excited she was to meet me. She also wrote in her cell phone number and suggested maybe we meet before school beginning and the mentoring orientation. I called her and we set up a time and met at Johnsons Corner for some coffee and discussion. She asked how registration/move in/etc was going and if I had any questions about the mentoring program. She was SUPER friendly and it was great to meet her and discuss not only the program but our lives/living arrangements/school as well.

I really like how it appoints the mentor and how involved, helpful, and informative the mentor is. Sarah and I get along great and she is really helping me do well in school by giving me the confidence to do so.

Mandy is a very nice girl. At our initial meeting during the summer I had a very major question about her living arrangements and also about work. She gave me advice on getting along with roommates, and talked from her personal experience about her living arrangements off campus as well. Where I could check for these places, etc. Also, I was hesitant to transfer my job to Fort Collins, and she answered my questions regarding juggling workload/school.

I like being paired with someone older who has a couple years of experience and they are able to help with any questions or uncertainties I may have. It is a good way to meet new people.
