Welcome Mentors!
A College of Business mentor has the opportunity to make a huge impact on one of our new freshmen business majors for the next year. As a mentor, you will help guide your mentee through her/his first experiences at Colorado State University and the College of Business, and help your mentee adjust to new surroundings. By applying, you agreed to certain responsibilities as a mentor. In turn, you partake in a program designed to be fun and rewarding for you and your mentee. Remember, you are a BIG part of the Mentoring Program…it is your support and dedication to our new students that will help them succeed!
How to become a College of Business Mentor
• Junior and senior College of Business students may apply and/or be recommended to apply by a faculty or staff member
• Fill out the Mentor Application before the last day of February
• Attend a short Interview session the first week of March
• The Program Coordinator will inform you of your acceptance by April 1st
• Attend the Spring Mentor Training in late April
• Mentors will receive informational packets on the program and their new mentee during the summer
• Attend a Fall and Spring Mentor Regroup Meeting
