Lauren Bass
This summer Lauren balanced two jobs, an accounting internship with the Goeken Group Corporation and coaching competitive gymnastics which she has been doing now for nine years.  During her time at school she works in the Poudre School District in the special needs preschool classroom.  Lauren is looking forward to graduating in May with her business degree with a concentration in accounting.  After graduating, she will be taking a trip to Israel to celebrate.  When she is not busy working or studying for classes, Lauren enjoys snow skiing, hanging out with friends and reading a good book.


Erin Devany
Erin is a junior this year studying Real Estate and Finance in the College of Business. After participating in the mentoring program her freshman year as a mentee, she is very excited to be a part of the program again, this time as a mentor. She is involved in other organizations on campus such as the College of Business Dean’s Student Leadership Council as well as her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, where she currently holds the position of secretary. She is also actively involved in their philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education and Awareness where the women participate in community service events such as Race for the Cure and the annual Think Pink Dessert Party to help raise awareness and donate money for research. Erin is studying abroad next fall in London, England where she will be focusing on international finance.”


Joseph Garcia
Joseph, a senior Business major at Colorado State University, was given the opportunity to participate in the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's internship program this past summer. During his internship in Washington D.C., Joseph worked in Congressman John Salazar’s office, participated in weekly leadership training sessions, and helped plan and execute a community service project. Joseph was one of 24 interns selected to participate in the program.  The programs’ interns represented 15 states and Puerto Rico.


Erica Hixson
Erica is a senior finance major this year and enjoys everything about the College of Business at Colorado State. Through it, she is connected with the coed professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, with which she is extremely involved. She holds the Director of Corporate Relations this semester. Her and other members work to organize events that help members of DSP network and explore the business world. Along with Delta Sigma Pi, Erica is very involved with the President's Leadership Program, a class designed  to explore the various dimensions of leadership application. She recently completed a summer internship with Accenture in Seattle, Washington. For fun, Erica likes to be outdoors, hiking and four wheeling. She is also interested in politics and was a National Delegate and attended the Presidential Inauguration in Washington D.C.


Carolyn Lucchesi
Carolyn is currently a senior double majoring in finance and psychology as well as working towards the entrepreneurship certificate. Currently she is a student worker for the undergraduate programs working on business minors. She also is participating in an organization titled Business Diversity Leadership Alliance (BDLA). The group is to help individuals learn about social just and ethical issue that face the world today in both a personal and professional way. This year, she is also apart of a co-ed business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. This past summer, she had the great opportunity to be a part of an internship at Lockheed Martin and the summer before travel to an internship in Dublin, Ireland with her friend Shawna Strickland, a Marketing major. She is looking forward to a wonderful year especially the mentoring program with a great mentee Hugo!


Angela Murray
I am very excited to be back in Fort Collins, after spending the summer life guarding and traveling to the Virgin Islands.  As a marketing major, I look forward to getting into more marketing courses and hopefully land an internship.  In my free time I love cooking and dancing.  Staying active is very important to me and I take advantage of all the great things Colorado has to offer.  I can't wait to hit the slopes this winter with my friends.  I hope to study abroad in Siena next summer!


Nicole Stutz
My name is Nicole Stutz, I am a junior at Colorado State University. Marketing is my concentration, yet I am also majoring in apparel design. I hope to combine my two fields of study and perhaps start my new line of clothes one day! I have worked at Starbucks and am currently working at a boutique in Old Town Fort Collins called, Mama Said Sew. I was a mentor my freshman year and am excited to be on the other end of things as the mentee now. I am also apart of diversity club and FGI (Fashion Group International). I hope to intern next spring, maybe even abroad. Currently my goal is to graduate on time, so I can continue on the next chapter of my life.
