Welcome! Welcome!

My name is Katie and I coordinate the COB Mentoring Program. I am the main contact for mentors and mentees (freshmen) involved in the program. The College of Business created the Mentoring Program to reward our new freshmen and help harness their potential at Colorado State University, but also to allow a unique leadership experience for current junior/senior business majors. In this program, mentees, mentors and the College benefit from the mentoring relationship. As a participant, you will interact with me at events, through informative newsletters, at trainings, and one-on-one meetings during the semester. It’s my privilege to be part of such an important student journey. The students make this program and build its success.

Jasmine Williams - Student Program Coordinator
I am a third year, Marketing and Media Studies student from Colorado Springs, Colorado. During my first year, I was a mentee in the Mentoring Program and learned so much about the College of Business (COB), Colorado State University, and myself. This year will be my second year as the Student Coordinator for the Mentoring Program. As the Student Coordinator, I keep both the mentors and mentees up-to-date with program events and socials (so check those emails!). As far as other campus activities, I participate in multiple student organizations and love being a part of the COB and CSU community.
I highly recommend the Mentoring Program because not only does it allow first year, ethnically and racially diverse, and out-of-state students to belong to an organization, but the program also allows for students to get acquainted with the College of Business and make lasting connections within the college. Each event and program is designed in a way to help first year students with the transition into Colorado State University and offers students resources that can be used throughout their college experience.
