Students enrolled in the Master of Management Practice program come to the College of Business from all walks of life. What draws them together is a common goal to obtain an in-depth education in management practices, including organizational and leadership skills.
As a student in the Master of Management Practice program, you’ll move with your cohort through the year. At the beginning of your program, you’ll participate in team-building activities, learning hands-on about leadership. You’ll work with a diverse group of students, sharing core business courses while customizing your degree with non-business graduate courses that fit your academic goals.
Our students can often be found working in small groups on community-based projects, or meeting for study sessions. Outside of the classroom, many of our MMP students become friends, drawn together not only because of a common interest in management practice, but also because of an interest in learning about others in different disciplines. We also boast a small class size that leads to an intimate environment and lots of support from and for your classmates.
Approximately half of our students come from Colorado State University, the other half are represented by other Colorado schools, other schools within the United States, and International students from areas such as Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, and France. We market our program up and down the Front Range of Colorado and into southern Wyoming. This year we will extend our recruiting efforts to southern California, New Mexico, Nebraska, and Chicago. However, as a relatively new graduate program, we are still getting the word out about who we are and what we do. Our best recruiters are our students, who share their experience with others. We also recruit from students enrolled in the Minor in Business Administration at the College of Business who learn about the program during presentations in their classes.
We welcome you to join us. Learn, laugh, expand, explore, question and connect in the Master of Management Practice at the College of Business.
