I thought the final exam was at the regular class time for some reason, I didn't look at the syllabus because I thought it said thursday, but the date and time were clearly this morning,
I apologize for my errant mistake and am ready for the exam, please call and let me know if there is any way I can make up the exam today?
On the second day of exams my student sent to me…
Hi…I know your MKT 305 online class started this monday but I had been very sick with swine flu for the last three weeks and was focused on getting better. Now that I am better I was wondering if I could late register for your class I have already talked online admissions and they said it was ok if it was alright with you. I will be focused and ready to be able to catch up if i have missed alot of work or can meet with you in person.

I was unable to make it to class today due to car problems coming back from the mountains today. I was wondering if I could get any extra notes that you might have mentioned today besides the power points. Thank you for any help I can get.
On the fourth day of exams my student sent to me…
I am going to be in Mexico from April 25 thru May 1st. I just realized that this is the same time period that MKT 366 presentations are scheduled. I was wondering if it was possible for my group to present after these dates such as May 6th or 8th. I apologize if this causes an inconvenience but i would really appreciate it. I will talk to you in class on Tuesday.

Hey,
I got a call at 7:30am today that my horse is very ill and is in very serious condition. Would it be possible for me to make up today's test later today or tomorrow? Please call me on 555-555-5555 if at all possible because I am at the barn and it is difficult to check email.

Oh, hey! Dr. Hoffman I will be attending class in 30 minutes, but I am very heavily medicated and I am worried about my test results being affected. I am on a lot of pain killers and am a bit loopy to say the least. What do you think we can do? I have doctors notes if you need them. Should I take the test anyway and see how I do? Thanks!

Hey,
I feel like such a slacker, but I left an essay at home on my laptop that I need for my other business class' exam today, so I am going to have to run home and grab that but I will try to catch the last half of class. I am so sorry for the kind of student I have been lately, I promise that my behavior will change and I will be in class every day again. Getting old is absolutely no fun! I'm also hoping I don't have the swine flu on top of everything else, I woke up with a cough and a fever, ahhh!! Thank you Dr. Hoffman!

Hi Mr. Hoffman,
I am not sure if I turned in the right copy of the asignment. You probably will be confused if you have the one that is not revised. For double make sure, I made another copy and slided into your office underneathe of the door. Would you able to take this one if I turned in the none revised homework. I am sorry I missed class today. My sister is in the Air Force and living with my wife and I. She received a call way too early this morning that she needed to get to Colorado Springs immediately, and I had to bring her because she was too drunk to drive. If you could send me a link to your video class for module 8 that would be awesome.

Hi Dr. Hoffman,
How are you doing? This is XXXX, XXXXXX, I took Mkt300 with you Summer2009. I got a B in the course. As you know Dr. Hoffman that I am an international student, and English is not my first language. I understand the materials of the course better in my first language, and translation to English takes me a long time. I just faced language difficulties in this course. I really need you to upgrade my grade to an A, even if you require me to do extra work . I am graduating next semester, and I really want to graduate with a high GPA to find a good future job back home to be happy in this life .
