A team of College of Business students, Lee Tolbert, Westin Deats, and
Matt LeBlanc, along with their faculty advisor Paul Vanderspek, competed
in the 27th Annual Denver Transportation Club’s Operations Stimulus
Student Case Competition. This prestigious supply chain management
case competition draws teams from the best supply chain programs
nationwide. This was only the second year the College of Business
competed in Operations Stimulus, and the team finished second overall to
Western Florida University. The theme of the conference was sustainable
logistics and the case dealt with creating a Merge-in-Transit logistics
solution for a large electronics company. The team, given Colorado
State’s strong focus on sustainability, created a sustainable logistics
solution. Congratulations to the team for their hard work and on their
impressive accomplishment.
