A Broomfield entrepreneur has been named the new program director of the
Denver Executive MBA program in the College of Business at Colorado State
University.
Dave Larsen, who graduated from Colorado State’s Executive MBA Program in
June 2007, has been a small business owner for more than 15 years. He
developed and managed outpatient counseling programs in Texas, Arizona and
Colorado. He also worked at CeDAR, (Center for Dependency, Addiction and
Rehabilitation) at the University of Colorado Hospital, Anschutz Center for
Advanced Medicine.
Most recently, he served as president and program director of Family
Recovery Centers in Denver.
"Dave's experience, both in business and the Executive MBA Program, will
help students understand how the curriculum will allow them to learn more
about business from all angles - from marketing to business development to
management," said John Hoxmeier, associate dean of graduate programs and
associate professor in the College of Business. "His connections with the
Denver business community and his entrepreneurial expertise will help
prepare MBA students for the complexities of the business world."
