College NewsWomen and Leadership - 2006

The College of Business is excited to announce that the ever popular course "Women and Leadership: Preparing Women for Leadership Roles in Business" will be offered again for the third time, spring semester 2006. This course is taught by Ms. Stephanie Allen, Founder of the Athena Group, and Ms. Carolyn Turner former General Counsel for the Coors Brewing Company. The focus of this class centers on understanding one’s own leadership preference and style, gaining familiarity of particular challenges and advantages available to women seeking leadership positions.

This is a great opportunity for women in the College of Business to begin establishing a network of support amongst their class mates and learn more about their own leadership potential. Students will be exposed to key business women in leadership roles and hear about their path to success.
