Stefan L. Wenger has more than 15 years' experience in the mining industry and is the chief financial officer and treasurer of Royal Gold, Inc. Before joining Royal Gold in 2003, Wenger was an experienced audit manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he provided audit and business advisory services to the mining and oil and gas industries. Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, he was an audit manager for Arthur Andersen LLP.

Wenger is a Certified Public Accountant, is a graduate of Colorado State University with a B.S. in business administration, and has completed the general management program at the Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
