Financial Analysis Certificate
With or without prior finance experience, the Financial Analysis Certificate prepares students to perform analysis in a personal or business setting. The Certificate includes a combination of techniques including analysis planning, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation. The Certificate is ideal for students planning for a professional career that involves creating or understanding financial projections, valuing businesses and securities, making investment decisions or analyzing financial alternatives. The College of Business is among only a few institutions which offers access to the Bloomberg System Database, allowing students access to real time financial information that combines news, data, and analysis for more than 3.7 million securities worldwide.
Objectives of the Financial Analysis Certificate includes:

- ACT310 Financial Statement Analysis
or ACT311 Intermediate Accounting I
- FIN310 Financial Markets and Institutions
- FIN355 Investments: Equity Securities (Prerequisite FIN310)
- FIN370 Financial Management: Theory and Application
Note: Finance majors are not eligible to earn this certificate.
