Rockwell Hall
The College of Business has a strong connection to the future as well as roots in the past. The original Rockwell Hall, built in 1940 as a women’s dormitory, underwent a complete transformation in the late 1990s turning the facility into a state-of-the-art center for business education, research and outreach. Rockwell Hall features:


• Specialized classrooms that provide students with direct access to a world of information
• Student computer laboratory
• Advanced business application laboratory
• Student meeting space
• Faculty and administrative offices
• Rockwell’s center courtyard, a favorite student hangout, a place to meet friends, study, and enjoy the Colorado sunshine.


In October 2008, the College of Business broke ground on its latest construction project to keep up with growth in the business undergraduate and graduate programs. The $17.5 million expansion to Rockwell Hall will feature:


• Nine new classrooms
• 112-seat grand auditorium
• Financial data lab
• Student forum
• Coffee bar with café seating
• Financial data lab replicating a trading room to simulate stock transactions using actual market data and stock quotes
• Wireless technology, LCD projectors, DVD players and plasma screens
• New technologies for up-to-date information and knowledge in preparation for a fast-paced, ever-changing workplace.

You’ll also have the opportunity to shadow a current student and attend a business class in session. Individual visits are by appointment only.

Directions to CSU and Rockwell Hall from 1-25
Rockwell Hall is located at 501 West Laurel Street, Fort Collins, Colorado, 80523, on Colorado State University’s main campus. From Interstate-25 take Exit #268, Prospect Road. Drive west on Prospect approximately 5 miles to College Avenue. At College Avenue, turn right (north) and look for the Colorado State University campus on your left. Turn left (west) on Laurel Street. After going past the railroad tracks, turn left at the second light on S. Meldrum Street. You will turn into a large parking lot. Metered parking is on the west side of lot and Rockwell Hall is on the northwest end of the lot.
