Statement of Values
Each of us comes to the College of Business at Colorado State University with a deep commitment to excellence in higher education. We will achieve our vision and pursue our mission while fostering and upholding our set of shared core operating values:
Excellence. We are a community of scholars and professionals. We will not compromise on our commitment to excellence and intellectual rigor in creating value for our stakeholders.
Integrity. Our community fosters and expects the highest level of professionalism from its members. We honor and commit ourselves to the highest ethical standards in our pursuit of excellence.
Respect. Each individual in the College of Business community is important to its success. Therefore, we foster respect for the individual, promote open and responsible communication, require personal responsibility, and promote diversity.
Fairness. In pursuing our mission, we operate within a clear framework of fairness. Such a framework rewards outcomes that support the mission of the College, articulates clear performance expectations and measures, recognize excellence and develops processes and programs that foster continuous improvement.
Commitment. We anticipate barriers, impediments, and constraints due to external and internal forces. Despite challenges to our efforts, we continue to focus on our mission and our pursuit of excellence.
