Tuition

The Distance MBA Program tuition rate is identical for in-state and out-of-state students; the tuition for the 2009-2010 Academic Year is $620 per credit hour for each of the 40 credits in the program – there is no residency requirement. The current program total for the 40-credits is $24,800.  This does not include the cost of textbooks or other course materials nor does it include the University’s $20.00 per semester technology fee. There are no other costs associated with the Distance MBA Program. The tuition rate of $620 per credit hour is a holdover for the 2008-2009 Academic Year; the College of Business recognizes the economic struggle of many students, by holding tuition steady it is our hope the more students can continue to pursue their educational goals.

Tuition is billed each registration period in either two or three increments depending on when class registration is completed. This billing is done directly to the student or to a third party, if those arrangements have been made. Textbooks and other class materials may also be billed through student accounts as a convenience. Payment of these charges may be made via checks or credit card.

The College of Business offers active duty, reservists, National Guard and veterans of the Armed Forces a unique Tuition Reduction Program; these groups are eligible for a 10% reduction in their tuition.  During each registration period, the total tuition is reduced by 10%; this is a savings of over $2,480 during the program. Federal and state government employees are provided the same privilege. Unfortunately, State of Colorado employees are not eligible. If you qualify in one of these categories for the Tuition Reduction Program, be sure to notify the admissions staff during your application process.
