Cambodia Cooperative

Agricultural Cooperatives, Cambodia

The Cambodian Cooperative team is partnered with the Wildlife Conservation Society and The Farmer's Livelihood, a Cambodian NGO, to link improved livelihoods for farmers to improved natural resource conservation.  The GSSE team will develop business plans for FLD and the cooperatives and develop long term plan for international marketing of the cooperative's products.
 

Czero Inc.

Transportation Efficiency Solutions, Asia

Czero Inc. is a local vehicle engineering company with expertise in hydraulics and hydraulic hybrid technology.  The GSSE team is doing research so that they can deliver hydraulic hybrid technology and effective financing models.  They will provide a product that saves fuel, is affordable for the Asian target market and will have accelerated adoption due to financing options.  Reduction of harmful emissions is a natural outcome of this technology reducing pollution levels locally and globally.

Dhaka Weaves

Traditional Nepali Weaving, Nepal

Dhaka Weaves promotes women's self-sufficiency and empowerment through skill development, economic opportunity and linking entrepreneurs to markets.  The company is wholly owned and managed by women and is devoted to preserving traditional Nepali weaving.  The GSSE team will assist Dhaka Weaves in business planning for capacity building, market expansion and sustainable growth.  The products are beautiful, the spirit of the women is inspiring, making this a perfect partnership for developing world business and GSSE.

Disacare

Mobility Aids and Training, Zambia

Disacare is an organization that has been in existence since 1991 who's purpose is to provide mobility aids, training and employment for the disabled population of Zambia.  The GSSE team will help Disacare formalize a business plan, create pricing models appropriate for the economic standing of the disabled and the organization's sustainability, provide management training and help secure funding to attain Disacare's future goals.
 

PowerMundo

Renewable Energy Solutions, Peru

PowerMundo will develop and disseminate affordable renewable energy solutions to enhance peoples' quality of life and conserve the natural environment.  Initially, PowerMundo will tackle the challenges of indoor air pollution and the lack of access to  reliable electricity by dissemination of clean burning cook stoves and solar lanterns.

Small Engines

Micro-Diesel Engine Technologies, Bangladesh, India, Ethiopia

The Small Engines GSSE team is comprised of compassionate entrepreneurs who believe in enterprise-based solutions.  The start-up focuses on developing and dispersing micro-engine technologies for irrigation, generating electricity and other applications for farmers and low-income families.

Su Casa

Sustainable Housing Solutions, Mexico

Su Casa will develop an eco-friendly kit-home that will be marketed to Mexican nationals living in the United States to be built for their families in Mexico.  By doing this, Su Casa will address social, environmental and health problems of sub-standard housing in the developing world, while tapping into a growing market.
